Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. They have seniors to guide you, during interview they tell you that we have a team but in the name of team they just have one manager who is working from home since last idk 2 years in the name of maternity leave. The software manager don't have any technical knowledge, and she judges your technical work just on the basis of designs and alignments. At the time of appraisal, they provide you PIP so that you cant ask for the appraisal, also when you have worked for like whole year in that project since you get this kind of messages, Even though no one is able to read your code and functionality. Poor work culture, they deduct club charges from your salary every month to give an annual party but since 2 years I haven’t seen any annual party happening here....Read More
