Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? The staff and colleagues are very very helpful and polite

Dislikes

No yearly salary increment. Salary is credited after much delay. The delay gets longer every month and totally unpredictable. Leaves are very less and often cancelled by the authority. Also the employees do not have the liberty to take leaves on their preferred dates as there there are too many terms and conditions for taking vacation.
