Highly secure job with decent salary and benefits. Opportunity to learn many things provided a strong case is provided. Good synergy with plant operations which helps in knowledge enhancement. Robust system in place to easily convert work into patents.

Employees are encouraged to delegate detailed research to interns or professors through collaborations, which stunts technical ability development of self. Can often be made to work overtime and on weekends. High chances of spending most of your time chasing administrative actions rather than research. However, in micro level the company is very different. It is very good for people who are mediocre and they will have a great career. However, if one is above average and wants the same from the company, he will be dissapointed.
