TMTL or ‘Eicher’ is one of the most old & trusted brand of tractor industry in India, It instills good repo among employees working there. It is still only company in industry which has its niche in successfully supplying ‘Air Cooled Engines’ from decades to its customers.

Dislikes

With passage of time , company in someway has not kept up with the fast changing dynamics of tractor industry. New products launched are not in line with market trends, causing loss of market share in some key markets. Turbulence in upper management also further deteriorated things for the company. Things which were hit worse were Work life balance, timely promotions for employees.

Don’t expect increment at par with inflation, you’ll get 3% hike every year. On work you will find the culture cool and more employee friendly. Learning is now taking a centerstage as TAFE is now providing centralised learning like you’d expect in tata motors.
