I have worked in big banks before where i learnt little and wasted lot of energy on office politics even if i didn't want to. Here at SynOption, we are still allowed to WFH even though some staff misuse this privilege, there is zero office politics and we can focus on our work and skill development. People are regularly allowed to move between roles like from Support to Dev etc.

Dislikes

The HR and Management should take strict action on people who are misusing WFH. Because of them other may be impacted negatively in future.

Great company with a lot of apportunities. You are definitely going to learn a lot if you are willing to join this comany. If you are new joinee and experienced then you are supposed to perform asap. However junior software engineers are very helpful. Senior software engineers/TL give task with proper direction and then it depends on you how you perform the task. I usually dont write review. Everything has been good and smooth at SynOption. Work peacefully, learn as much as you want to. They allow to explore different techs and change teams.My manager is soft spoken and super senior yet very hands on.

now after covid all team members are spread across India so difficult to meet the entire team. Maybe WFH should be discontinued. Nothing bad as such

Joined a couple of months ago. I like the environment. At times i work on weekends for few hours but then lot of times i dont need to work 8-9 hours every day during the week

Its a dream job for any techie who wants to build stuff from scratch. Its not a place for average coders.

Nothing. Below review by "Vice President engineering" is fake review by a junior engineer who got terminated recently for moonlighting (doing two jobs at the same time illegally). SynOption doesn't have titles like "VP" and all senior staff are still here, no one left!

Great company, open culture have freedom to plan your day The CEO and CTO are two coolest people they are accessible always and shall respond to most silly questions no pressure just you have to act responsible as they are fully remote so they trust you a lot in terms of productivity.

Nothing in terms of work culture. A suggestion , Company should organise interactive session amongst team , and a Management open house with Companies vision and Plan will inculcate more trust in companies future.

they should spend more on PR activities. I read some of the negative reviews here and almost decided not to join, which would have been a mistake. i like my work and my team.!
