I think company needs to reduce paper work on-board and go complete paperless. That is the need of the hour. Especially duplication/triplication of the on-board docs to be abandoned. This will reduce management staffs workload and they could focus more on technical aspects instead of clerical aspects.

Work Details

Once on-board, I focus on my job. I get under the skin of my rank and work as a dedicated seafarer. On-board life is really relaxed but disciplined. I prefer this very state of work culture.;)

The vessel we were serving was sold to a new owner and we got down from the vessel from Denmark on 12 May 2020.Since then synergy has supported throughout, Synergy paid us our basic salary during our 24 day waiting period at Denmark,arranged an exclusive charter flight to carry us from Denmark to India,put us up in a 5 star hotel at kochi for our institutional quarantine.As per rules ,the 6 keralites in the group could have been sent for home quaratine.But still synergy paid for our stay in hotel, No difference was made for the ratings also(even ratings were put up in 5 start hotel for the quaratine. No words can adequately describe our gratitde towards the company.Clearly they have done much more than what is mandatory by law. And has gone out of the way to help us seasaferes.
