Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

As a start up and small organization, the organization will experience many falls and rises. No personal dislikes and in professional life the differences in opinion should be welcomed.

Good management. Good work culture. Job security is there.

Dislikes

1. Training: Does not happen. Should start. 2. salary/ appraisal: The process does not happen consistently. 3. Work environment: Before Covid it was good. In covid WFH. But office is inside a college, so not comfortable. 4. No extra benefits. No free Food. Pay half for group insurance. Individual insurance is covered. 5. No money against leave balance.
