learning is not good there as most of the system are automated. flat hierarchy growth is restricted. appraisals are average and there are no salary hike on promotions as there are all software developers and then manager.

if you are working in mainframe technology then the system is very automated you will get a pseudo code then you just simply add the business logic rest everything will be written.
