Sciative Solutions is, without a doubt, one of the worst places you could ever work. The micromanagement is so overwhelming, it feels like they’re watching your every move. There's no trust, no independence just constant interference from incompetent managers who have no idea what they’re doing but enjoy telling you how to do your job. The work culture is downright oppressive. Overtime isn’t just encouraged, it’s demanded, with no compensation and no regard for employees' personal lives. Prepare to sacrifice your mental health, physical health, and every ounce of free time if you plan to survive here. The sycophantic culture is on full display if you’re not constantly ingratiating yourself with the “right” people, don’t expect any recognition or growth. Promotions are handed out based on how well you flatter the manager's ego, not how hard you work or what you contribute. Talent and competence mean nothing here. People are so petty in this company, they’ll even go so far as to remove others just to advance themselves. The leadership team? Completely toxic. They seem more interested in playing mind games and pushing employees to their breaking point than in fostering any kind of healthy work environment. Challenging problems from clients need creative and innovative mindset, I therefore love the work that I do here. Everyone collaborates. managers and management is accessible and open to discuss problems. Evening snacks like pav bhaji, poha, pulav, etc. are open to all, including tea, coffee, chilled soft-drinks, etc.

Get ready to stretch and absorb a lot of new learning. Many times I realize that whatever I did in college was so theoretical. Typical startup. People are in general good. Focused on values. Donot entertain sub-standard work deliverable, because its a 'pricing' company handling revenue and profitability of other companies. Inclination towards tech is must. Job security. Salary comes on time (7th every month). I have got salary growth of +100% in last 3 years. Appraisals happen every year.

Dont join if you are looking for 9-6 job. First year was struggle becasue I was comparing it to MNC. But i started to enjoy my work when I started to succeed. Manager was helpful to come upto speed. Lots of feedback.

If you are slow and not proactive in first 3-5 months you may not be able to catchup with others in the team. Working here is like a living MBA of sorts.

Gives confidence in decision making. This is my second job. In my first job was at large company for 2 yrs. My learning in 8 months at Sciative is much more. I am more confident. I understand the product. I can analyze with real data, and take decision on it. Moreover the decision I take, are directly seen by the clients. Nurturing, yet fast paced environment. Learning of 3 years at Sciative = 5 years of learning in other companies. Deeply involved in tech No-nonsense workforce: come, work well, perfrom, and leae for home. Most of the days I am leaving home by 7:00 or 7:30 PM

Have to report on time - sharp 9:00AM (grace until 9:15AM as per HR :)) Only join if you have passion to work and perfrom. I am loving it, therefore.
