I had 5 rounds of interview with them and no one told me the shift timings. I asked them multiple times the only thing they said was flexible shift timings. I joined the company on 27th April 2022 and after 2 days of joining they are saying the timings will be 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM + 1 hour as they said flexible timings. I said I wasn't prepared for this. This should be the first thing you would have communicated to me. I asked them at least give me 2 days time to think. They said you don't have time and this is it, return the laptop and they cancelled my offer of employment. They were very rude....Read More

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
