Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

Likes

Started in 1998 with 20 Lakhs share capital and grown to more than one crore. The business turnover reached to 135 crores. The profits are more than one and half crore.

Dislikes

Not having freedom for constructive decision making and the management doesn't address our issues

Work Details

The job is quiet interesting. I learnt everything in the job. I helped the staff in doing their job effectively. I got the business and subsequently improved the profits
