At Saab we worked as a team of two in heavy vehicles,and therefore gaining a lot of experience from each other and working with different nationalities.In terms of training we had trainers from the company from UK and Sweden who kept training workers on matters of repair and maintenance,security when working in war zone,fire fighting and first aid,and so we got experience experience in maintenance of different vehicles, heavy equipment's,generators and other different machines like amoured military vehicles. The company policies was quit good because in every 3 months you go foe leave of two weeks and the company was responsible to cater for your travel and coming back though the salary was not that good though we got provided with everything that is medical cover,accommodation.uniforms etc. working condition was good,we got provided with everything in the workshop that is tools,spare part from ware house and a good workshop and one day of rest every week and lastly entertainment for all company staff....Read More

Dislikes

The only thing i disliked about Saab was salary which was little not more than 1000$ per month despite all hardship in Somalia.

Work Details

My work was supervise mechanics prepare work order,receive emails send reports receive phone calls ordering of spare parts, inspect , perform road test and hand over of vehicles to the client.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Flexible Timings)
