Managers in each department understand only their promotion, doesn't care about their team, from the general managers to HODs, same problem. Salary date not fixed, even at the middle of each month, concerned Dept don't have any answer when it will be credited... Promotions and increments, don't ask for that... But it's a very glamorous hotel without having ac in the reception area, u can learn a lot ( apart from job,other things like stock of slangs from g.m. etc. ) . If you want to join... Put ur attitude, house, family life outside the hotel premises. Last but not the least , staff food quality is terribly poor. Thank you....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
