Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? All though job security is averagely marked, but the culture is positive towards health and safety and welfare. The company does a lot for the welfare like, properly hygiene accomodation with every day cleaning and company a policy for workers health surveillance.
