Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

The thing I disliked the most is with respect to job security. I had been working over there since October 2022, till the time I became seriously ill and was admitted to the hospital. The principal along with the coordinators removed me from the official whatsapp group without giving any explanations. Though after been shown all medical documents, they promised to start my classes over but they didn't. I tried calling them several times, but no word came from the school authorities. Even the salary which was promised to many of us were not credited to our accounts. The Provident fund which was supposed to get accumulated, after checking was being found that the school had not credited the amount into my teacher's account....Read More
