No job security All of a sudden employee will be removed without any 3 months notice period Senior don't care about the intermediate level employees Promotion given not by performance but oiling and greasing person is the priority given first . There is lot of to say but

No job security Promotion not given by the seniors in time because seniors are afraid of there jobs will go if junior goes up Work done by all juniors but seniors only passing time and depending on juniors to finish the job mostly the expats seniors are of no use unnecessary earning salary without doing any jobs in the company.

Promotion given after 13 years of my job without any complaints and faults Seniors expats like Engineers don't give Promotion to the Junior expats team Only these seniors Engineer wants there Promotion only from the Qatari national section heads

13grade onwards the package is very good. Salary/appraisal is good. Good experience. Work environment/work life depends on the people who you work with.

Dislikes

Loads of stress, sometimes you have to work for 18hours and off course most of the managers and superiors don’t care about your health as they only want their work to be done. No appreciation and no employee value. Save money so that When you go back home you can spend the money earned on medical bills. And at time of crisis the HR will make you feel that you are sick so they can pack you back home....Read More

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. Qatar steel is a big company but managment is poor like uneducated qatari specialty MD alhjri when he take charge of the qatar steel. Company going down fall. 1st april he take decision to terminate employee of the qatar steel that whole world lock down. 3 or 4 month employs sitting home without money becoz flight not available. Alhjri is a big scammer
