PTI is an exciting work place and an excellent place to hone your skills. Being in India's largest news agency puts you in the centre of the whole industry, and your work goes out to numerous website. If you are enthusiastic, there is no end to the kind of opportunities and exposure that this place can provide.
If you show a knack for getting good stories, you will get opportunity to travel a lot on assignments. The career growth is steady, and there is an opportunity to do both editing and reporting, especially for beginners.
Seniors, especially those at the desk are supportive and helpful. You work with people who have spent their entire careers at PTI. Plenty to learn.
Excellent work life balance, as no one expects you to stay in office beyond your hours, and unless you are reporter you are unlikely to be bothered when you are at home. Works hours are less than most other places, and two days off a week. Three days off in weeks when you do night shift....Read More
