Only things I expected them to have good funding so that they won't fire people because of cash flow as my previous employer was struggling with same.

Dislikes

There are no KRA's defined. So if, your reporting manager is jerk or even brilliant jerk, he would manage to harass you no matter how good are you at your work. Some managers, specially who just managed to graduate from Tier-1 colleges but no work experience, will be the horrible and all you can do is leave the place. However, company policy says that you may get team transfer but spineless HR make it even more painful....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
