The only advantage working at Packt is flexi working hours, self learning and opportunity to work with skilled external entities like authors , tech reviewers etc.

Dislikes

There are no career or growth prospects for experienced professionals. Meager pay and unskilled Managers who have never worked with any IT company (including the senior management). Ironically the company neither uses any IT tools for research nor employs skilled IT professionals despite being a knowledge solution provider for the IT industry. It is said that people work for people in any organization. The attrition rate is quite high which validates the above fact because there are no such managers at any level who can provide sensible guidance to executives. Earns you enough to pay bills !
