Likes

It was a very challenging experience that helped me grow and learn exponentially. The Tech stack is very good and everyone is open to new ideas. The ownership and responsibility of feature helped me understand what a product needs and think about the user while implementing even a minute feature.

Dislikes

The work life balance was not pretty great and I had little to no time apart from work. The management can improve in terms of vision and planning.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
