As I am working in orchids from last 3 years. After corona school was working fine, but now the working environment is not good as principal here is toxic and do office politices. If you back answer her or say no to any work she will be back of your life. Still will make you work and call upto 11 pm in the night. Better go for ther school.

Everything, neither the culture is good nor the academics. Out of 91+ branches I think no branch is affiliated with any board. They don't have knowledge of any board. They are just running random schools on lease. They will shut down any branch any time without a single thought of students or employees also They will open any branchwithout any planning. Orchids give preference for only women. I worked as an Admission Counselor for 1.6 years in Orchids. Interview process was so easy in Orchids. If I want to explain my experience in Orchids it was good. Every company has its own advantages and disadvantages. Compared to other schools or Ed tech companies, Orchids is The best. I worked before in some Ed- tech there they won't give any training. So here in orchids it's not like that, orchids has a people who will train counselors, only problem in orchids is people who stay for longer period in branch will show seniority more, they will not entertain new joinee to learn at all. Apart from that the pressure is so much, the pressure is only admission pressure, and also it depends on which branch we are working for, if it is branches like BTM, VIJAYANAGAR, HORAMAVU, MYSORE ROAD This branches are stress less. branches like nagarbhavi is very headache. Incentives are also there based on admission so it is nice to work there. Problem is no growth here designation wil not be changed no career growth at all in orchids. And admission pressure is also too much, if we don't to the admission after 3 weeks they will remove if there is no improvement from admission Counsellor. So before joining think and join which branch you are joining for. Sunday working is compulsory and no government holidays. They say they will be giving on rotational based but they won't give. Management is not good specially in Jubilee hills branch. So much behavioural issues from principal side. No prior information, no prior preparation for any thing. So stress level is more.

As per my observation, there is no strict rules to control the disturbing students, they are free to use foul language, abuse other students, as a teacher we should not be strict with them, even teachers were facing trouble from students, we should not care about them, the management also don't take any action on them.

I have several concerns that have led to my decision to resign from Orchids the international School. 1) Unilateral Changes to Job responsibilities - My role has been changed without my consent, and I've been assigned counselling work without relevant training or background. 2) Unrealistic workload and expectations- I've been tasked with completing incomplete data within an unrealistic timeframe without support, and I'm Expected to work late hours, Including Sunday's and Holiday's. 3) Disregards for employee well- being- The management has shown a lack of concern for my mental and physical health, expecting me to work despite health issues. 4) Unfair treatment and inaccurate accusations- I was marked Leave without pay(LWP) for not reading whatsapp messages where i was busy was with given tasked. 5) Company is only adding roles and responsibilities day by day not while increment hike they give 3-5% only. after giving 10hours to company. 6) lack of support and grievance redressal- My grievances have been ignored, I've received no Support or response from the management. Orchids gives a good syallabus and teaching aid, structure, curriculum plan to teachers which is beneficial.

Dislikes

No professionalism, any given time work can aride and employee is obliged to do that. Irrelevant work request, eg- Theatre teacher is asked to teach English and public speaking at times maths too.No salary raise, no bonuses, no performance evaluation based increments. And very poor approach by human relations department.

No work balance .... Alot of work and pressure.... Teachers are forced to useless work maintaining data attending ptm via zoom daily and all these irrelevant work..... Rather they should be involved in teaching Bt seriously authority must pay attention towards the betterment of children not their data
