Its one of the biggest company when it comes to mobile gaming in terms of revenue. It has developed games like Teen Patti, Rummy , Tambola, Seep and many other card games. For frontend they work on Cocos-2dx, a gaming engine built on cpp and Unity for few games but majority is on Cocos-2dx. For backend they have erlang. For a fresher this organization has great opportunity to learn as you work/build from scratch and your work impacts directly the company and users of the products. There is no pressure to work for long hours and the job doesn't demand that which is the best part for most of the product based companies. You are given ample time to execute and build a given feature/product. Their backend architecture is strong and one can learn a lot in terms of architecture design from this company. They have one of the most scalable architecture and it handles millions of users daily which are proliferating tremendously. They don't have huge number of emloyees, only 60-70 employees were there when I joined so there is no rat race within the company. Furthuremore, the culture is free from dirty politics as there are less employees if compared to other big organizations. 1. The timings are said to be flexible, but they are kind of fixed. You need to do 8 hours in between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. No time count before 9 and after 7. They have weekly 40 hours policy You need to complete 40 hours in 5 days for full attendance else you will be marked half day. 2. They are very strict about you leaving office inbetween. The attendance is through biometric panel installed on ground floor. Whenever you leave the building you need to punch out and your time does not count until you punch in again. Moreover they have recently installed table tennis tables in the basement but for that also you need to punch out. 3. They have very less holidays. During my time Only 10 holidays were allowed plus 10 holidays of festivals. The most cruel part of festival holidays is that they counted Sat-Sun festivals in those 10 holidays. So you might want to think thrice before taking a leave. 4. The sandwich rule was the most disappointing. If you take Friday and Monday as leaves, you will be counted for 4 leaves. Most companies used to have this rule but now-a-days employee satisfaction has become.priority. 5. There is no cafe/eateries inside the office, if you don't bring lunch you need to go out therefore you r time will be cut. 6. The appraisals are never on the basis of performance, but on the basis of what the higher management decides. They give lame reasons for not giving a great appraisal. 7. They don't usually got out for parties. Infavt during my tenure there wasn't even single.party given. However, they has the occasional celebrations of Diwali/Holi within the official premises. 8. Mainly rely on Teen Patti, they develop other games but don't focus on marketing/capturing the users. Most of their games are mot under development or I would say not even in maintainence. 9. There was a firing round done in Oct-Nov 2016, after that most of the loyal employees have left till date and the remaining strength is much lower than 50% of what was 2 years ago...Read More
