Work environment and culture with NTPC GE is satisfactory excellent. Teammates are supportive and management is transparent for all, company policies are good.

Dislikes

Company policies some improvement required like bonus, family accommondation, and transportation facility for residential in korba city.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting. Struggle a bit in the beginning. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a test of different roles within the same team

As i started my first job i have to many question in my mind like how i start , job profile and many more but after joining as engineer- trainee at NTPC GE Power Service i found a very corporative environment where my FL is supporting to learn new things my senior engineer help me at every steps in New Works.

Dislikes

As all want to earn more to have a good and prosperous life so their is very less growth and salary.

5-day working allows you to balance between personal as well as professional life. Seniors are very much supportive.

Yearly Increment Policy. Hardwork dedicated employee aren't getting actual increment. Employee with low performance are getting same increment as Hardwork & high performance employee.

NGSL is a good company no doubt, it pays salary on time, but the biggest problem is that the company gives good increment to the old KPS staff but does not give good increment to its own retained staff, and the KPS staff has formed their own team within the company and whatever is said happens, NGSL staff has no value and the oldstaff treats the NGSL retained staff like helpers, Head Office HR does not get to know whether my retained staff is happy or not, that why the new staff leaves the job...Read More

NGSL company does increment every year just as politicians say, they do not have any rules and regulations of their own, the most saddening thing is that someone gets a huge increment after doing good work and someone else gets a good increment while sitting idle, and many incharges have joined KPS time, thats why they do not like the staff who have joined from NGSL,
