Collegues are Helpful and work environment is very friendly and supportive. Cafeteria is very good and Dishes prepared are delicious and very well organised.

There are few workers who have ganged up and made corporate political groups who have been working since more than 20 years and are playing corporate politics with future and careers of new employees by purposely troubling them by overloading them with infinite amount of work which makes new employees work almost 18 Hours every single working day and are forced to take their laptops even at home and made to work till late nights till early mornings till 3am extremely often. Inspite of several serious complains made against such toxic and poisonous workers to HR Management team no strict action is taken against such poisonous workers just because they are working with organization for more than 20 years. Infact after such complains are made then the new employees are more harrassed and troubled every single day at work which leaves new employees with no alternative but to quit their hard earned job for which they have sold their heart and soul outby working for 18 Hours almost every single day....Read More

Being a Market Infrastructure Institution, NSDL offers a good job security. The work life balance is good but that again depends on the department you are working under. The roles that the company offers are very different and not much relevant to the industry and as such working here wont make a significant difference to your carrier since there are only two such Depositories in India (NSDL & CDSL). The company doesnt offer much growth prospects even if you are outstanding in your work and talent and skills are not appreciated and ratings would largely depend on the HODs who are not so keen on giving good grades to employees so as to avoid creating competition for them. Overall, it's only good for people who are joining in the mid management level.. AVP & above... for the management, the employees below that doesnt matter. There is an acute shortage of staff and you would be required to put in extra hours at work. It still functions like a government organization where everything happens at it's own pace.
