It is good for freshers to work, but only for maximum 1 Year. Some managers are helpful and motivating people, very few we can say.

Dislikes

People at NIC don't want to understand the time required for a task, they just want work to be completed next day. No proper documentation of the projects, don't give time to improvise the project, don't take proper inputs from clients and demand to complete work, I mean how is it possible. Unnecessary pressure. Salary gets delaye d some times. Need to learn most of the things on our own, without proper knowledge transfer<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. Salary and career growth is very slow</mark>. If you take it positively, then you will get exposure to work on all the stages of software development life cycle, from requirement gathering to designing, development, testing, hosting and error solving. Initially I got to learn a lot about the major projects they have, huge DB handling, different design requirements by the clients, it was going good. If we look it positively then you will get exposure to all the stages of project life.

no career growth, government style work very lazy people. government proving lots of funds but payroll company taking lots of commission and deduct money. For me government providing 62K but what I am getting is 46K.

Boring, no new technology actually government officials have 0 knowledge about new technology in the year 2018 when .NET technology shifted to .NET Core2.0 we still using Visual Studi 2008/2010
