MyGate is a great company that is growing exponentially. Below are the good things : * Multiple revenue streams ensuring cashflow - Advertising revenue is the biggest contributor. Core business is subscription revenue from societies that use MyGate services but it is not as high as ad revenue, still better that 4 years back. Company ventured into consumer space by introducing locks and it is being received very well. Company plans to introduce entire range of smart devices which has a great potential. * Company Culture - Very young workforce. A lot of freshers are hired due to which office environment feels vibrant. Very flexible (atleast in ad sales teams) for working hours + leaves as long as you do your job effectively. Some things that can be better : * Need to streamline Operations - So there is a operations team that has relationship managers to handle existing societies using MyGate app and another business development team to onboard new societies + ERP team for accounting. Ad sales team depend heavily on operations team for offline brandingactivites. Execution is done by field team. Operations can be streamlined and someone from industry who has done well in operations should be hired to lead this team. Given ad revenue is biggest contributor, every step should be taken to ensure operations is smooth. * Not hiring Experienced folks Company should focus on bringing experiences folks at different job levels. Too much reliance on freshers or less experienced people....Read More

Everything else All decisions are knee jerk, very top down approach , employment terms are changed as per their whims and fancies , made to work on week off and no comp off given- expected to be available 24 by 7 , You will be expected to take your laptop even when out of station no matter how good RM you are, IF you can't monetize your portfolio- you are useless [You are a vasooli agent and all other things mentioned in JD dont matter] No training given to new joiners and they expected to learn it somehow HR policy are just showpiece , they are followed only when it is convenient for the employers and not followed when the case is in favour of employees...Read More
