I’ve been a tutor with MEB for three years now. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first. I read a lot of reviews about MEB on various review platforms before I finally decided to join. It’s been a mixed bag but mostly positive. The online tutoring gigs are pretty straightforward, and I love connecting with students from all over the globe.

The flexibility is a huge plus, letting me schedule sessions around my life. But, like any job, it’s got its downsides. The company’s growing fast, and that’s cool, but the frequent changes in policies and procedures can be super frustrating. It’s like, one week we do it this way, and next week, it’s all different. Also, it’s a bummer that we don’t get reimbursements for additional expenses like internet costs or buying teaching materials. These out-of-pocket expenses can add up. Helping students online is a fulfilling gig. When needed quick cash during an emergency i got paid in advance, which was a huge relief. The community of tutors is also supportive and welcoming. However the company's rapid growth leads to a frequent policy changes, which can be confusing and frustrating at times.
