The company gave me my carrier breakthrough and i love it. MTN Nigeria provides opportunity of working with a lot of people from different backgrounds which make the workplace a fun place to be. The company is widely open to latest technology in mobile telecommunication and striving hard to be the best among the rest.

Dislikes

Work volume is high but compensation is not good enough.

My task involves attending to customers in-bound calls, mostly interesting but a bit challenging.

Work life balance, compensation and benefits. We are always implementing new technologies all the time. currently am doing championing migration of 450TB EDW database from Supercluster T4-4 to Supercluster M8. M8 is the latest Oracle Engineering System.

Dislikes

Politics which means too much of eye service. I don't believe in office politics, I do my work according to the company SLA.

The work here is hectic because we run 24/7 operation to avoid any unplanned downtime . You know as a telecommunication company our system performance have to be optimal and available all the time.

Working at MTN was awesome experience and it was learning&career building environment. My various roles at MTN made me to know how to build long-term relationships, how to keep documents,how to collaborate with colleagues to meet targets. How to plan.

I liked the modus operandi of the organisation. The benefit and work conduction was very ok until the Indians took over.

I think growth rate in some department is a major concern e.g Customer Relations. There are people that spent more than 10 years as a supervisor, this could lead to frustration and low productivity.

Has site deployment . Carried out Tss with acquisition team. Accept or reject the sites if no meeting the specifications. Supervised BTS site build from foundation to finish and integrate the sites.worked at Lagos ,Asaba & Ibadan regions.
