The work environment in Msci is excellent. Friendly environment and very less pressure from seniors provided you are completing the task within the given time

MSCI is totally into Data mangement and MSCI hires highly qaulified person like CA, CFA and MBA- Finance. This the sad part, people study and join Msci with hopes that they are getting into good reputed Finance company but end up dealing with data entry, data cleaning etc. most if the report generation has been automated and the employees are just to run the automated tools and macros does the entire job. 0% learning of financial concepts. Your entire job profile revolves around handling and monitoring MSCI’s tools. It reduces our scope in Finance domain and we get trapped doing data entry. I have wasted my 8 months in MSCI. All learnt is CTRL+ C , CLRL+V, ALT+Tab, Alt+E+S etc. if there is work then you have to work extra but most of the time I have spent sitting ideal with no work at all. Fed up asking my manager to assign me something.
