Sudden huge cuts in salary incentives. No fixed allowances for night shift. Many policies are employer friendly. No growth. Difficult to avail leaves. No fixed weekly offs. No proper canteen. Unhygenic canteen and food preparation. 99.5% is the minimum criteria for quality incentives below which you get only basic salary which is around 14000 rupees only. If quality is maintained above 99.75 and if monthly target is met with extra lines done then one can expect satisfying salary and incentives. If quality is below 99.5 then be prepared for basic salary and even allowance will be affected where one will get 150 per night. Only night shift and dusk shift in the coming days....Read More

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
