Expected Salary for PLC Programmer cum Service Engineer After 6 Months as Trainee

Hello everyone, I joined my company as a fresher and have been working for the past six months as an Engineering Trainee in industrial automation. We are an authorized channel partner of Mitsubishi Electric, handling Mitsubishi PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots for multiple clients in Bangalore. Currently, I earn ₹15,000 per month, and since my training is almost over, my manager has decided to give me a salary hike based on my performance. He will soon ask me about my expected salary, and I want to set a competitive figure. My new designation will be PLC Programmer cum Service Engineer, where I will handle PLC, HMI, and robot programming and servicing. I would like to know: 1. What should I ask for as a fair salary in an industrial automation company in Bangalore, considering my role and experience? 2. How much do competitors typically offer for someone with my skill set? 3. If I explore other opportunities, what salary range can I expect with six months of hands-on experience?

Mitsubishi Electric provide all tools to me for developing my knowledge in Industrial Automation field. I work very closely with technical team for product selection according to application. If we talk about work culture, everyone is very supportive and you can have maximum benefits as company always provide all necessary benefits to their employees and also supports in extra curricular activities such as cricket tournament . If we talk about negative side then Aggressiveness is missing. When you wants to close big project order at that time you feel that no one is interested to take some risk from Product marketing side. As well as new product development took too much time which leads to change in market in between that period....Read More
