It is a good area for starters as because the basics of elective as well as emergency surgery exposure is very good. Further man management skills and how to deal with a patient party can also be cultured a lot. One can use up his tenure quite fruitfully out here.

Dislikes

The problem lies with the fact that you have to refer a good number of rare cases because of dearth of requisite surgical backup as well as good ICU care
