I had joined Marpu Foundation as an intern because I wanted experience in copywriting, I was my first internship at an NGO so I did not know what to expect. But once I was hired, I found that the work was quite simple and that it was quite flexible as well. Our group was assigned with writing a blogpost, and then asked to promote the organisation on various platforms. I had written the blogpost without much difficulty as I have experience in content writing, but when it came to promotions Marpu, I had to know the extent of the organisation’s impact – and I was pleasantly surprised. Marpu Foundation has an ideology that I wish to see in every NGO. Its work theme aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and it provides individuals with multiple ways to contribute, no matter if they are a student, employee or corporation. It is one of the largest volunteering organisations in India so it is sure to bring about a huge impact across the nation, and inevitably on the world. Being an intern here has definitely been an enlightening experience, and I hope to find more opportunities like this in the future....Read More

Interning with Marpu is a great opportunity for freshers to get some work experience. You will learn new things which is good for the cultivation of an individual's mind. So if you are willing to intern or work for an NGO, Marpu is an excellent choice. There are many programs launched by Marpu and you can become a part of them. Programs are related to education, sanitation, environment, women empowerment, etc. Virtual internships make it easy to be a part of a social cause. Marpu allows virtual internships. You will be added to a whatsapp group where you will be briefed about the tasks you need to complete.
