No relation between work and pay, you can be paid very less and still work 24*7, without any recognition. 4. Work environment depends from team to team, so choose your team wisely 5. If you're a hardworker but don't know how please your department head then your only way is out. They would always love a person to point out to when any performance issue arrises.
