Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

No work life and personal life balance, management is not good.. when the deadlines are near lot of pressure is given to the employees. No compensation for working on weekends. Everyday work is more than 10hrs

As far the training is good but no work n personal life balance. Managers can be rude sometimes. They want you to work on weekends without compensation. Almost more than 10 hrs of working everyday.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

The company is expanding and getting new clients. There has been no instances of travelling among my team members yet. There is poor work life balance and appraisals are delayed every year .

Training provided by them is very good. And you get to learn about most of things like python, project management, communication skills, etc

Dislikes

No work -life balance. They expect that an employee should work for 12 hrs a day. Lot of micro-management. Unnecessary waste of time in the meetings and ofcourse they need timesheet analysis
