a system engineer

New Job Anxiety?

Hey all I recently got an offer from a company as it offered me a 60-70 % hike over my current company which was about to secure a job. I am having 3 years of experience in SAP BW domain and mostly and in this I have worked for 1.6 years in BW support and that too in night shifts where there is not much work. I started preparing interviews and cleared them and now got an offer and I put my notice and my last working day was next week. Now coming to the main part even though I'm good about most part having less real time experience and exposure is freaking me out and what will be the new company expectations and I decided to work hard to learn all the details it's just the hands on I'm not sure. With in mean time I'll be preparing in that company I mean once I join should I need to tell my lead or manager that this is at where am I and should I just bluff them as i know everything. Any suggestions please...the joining date is around the corner which gives me more anxiety

There is nothing to like in this company. One will only work in this company if he has no self-respect and wants to destroy whatever self-esteem he has. It is better to not have job than work here. You will only be setting your career back here. If you joined the company by some mistake , immediately start looking for another job ad leave as early as possible.

Founders. Husband and Wife pair. Worst "founders" to ever exist. Both are technically illiterate but has arrogance enough to spare. They completely lack empathy and manipulate employees. Somehow the idea that they just might be in the wrong is very hard concept for them to understand. They have turned company culture very toxic. They don't talk normally. They just lecture even on things they clearly do not understand. Communication is extremely poor from them. They tend to not have any idea on what they want but they expect employees to read their mind to do something that was never really explained. - Company does not pay on the time. - Company makes up the rules as it goes which always costs employees in some way. - Company expects you to work on average 10/11 hours(without counting lunch time) - There is no structure in company - Company finance is never properly explained so their ESOPs are worthless. Don't fall for them no matter what amount they give. It is fake money essentially to pad up the CTC....Read More

It was two months internship and extremely fruitful. I was able to learn a lot about MSMEs. The Co-founder Mr. Gaurav Dokania, is a very polite and amazing person.
