I feel safe & heard inspite on being woman in a construction industry, Salaries are always on time. Since working hours are already a lot, we are not expected to wait late at night.

Dislikes

There is not much chance to grow and many monopolies exist within the project teams. Often if there is no new project, employees are terminated or sent on 'Loss Of Pay' leaves. It is difficult to become part of a pre-existing team & often you employees who take interest in work are exploited by there reporting managers. There are noopportunities to find a work life balance. Only a single person with no family responsibilities can work & sustain here....Read More

Recruitment office needs complete overhaul. Too many people brought in with little experience. Also the standard questions that they were being asked at interview were too difficult for the average guy to understand.

Started off working six days a week, then seven for a couple of months. Offered me free tickets for HK Sevens, and then wouldnt allow me to go! Client, toll company didnt like to be told the truth, very set in their ways.
