Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Everything is streamlined, if not people are coperative enough to get it streamlined. Best part about the employees and the company is if they don't know something they humble down and accept the change and more over they tend to make change with position efforts.
