The upper level management is working hard to make a transition from teaching based to research based university. You will feel like working in a govt.sector as far as job security is concerned.

Lack of resources and clarity to do experimental research. Disparity in salary and appraisal is a major concern which creates frustration among many faculties. GITAM could easily implement govt. like salary structure. This would substantially reduce the grievance among the staff.
