Only thing you can be positive about this company is 100% Job security and Food &Transport.

Poor work culture, No Training / KT will be given to new joiners and straight away they will push you into urgent works. All the work they assign will be in urgent basis and no buffer time will be given for us to study and understand the work. Work from Home is considered as a sin by this management. Employees are lack of COVID safety knowledge (No one except the Japanese HODs and very few managers will wear mask properly and follow SOP) and no strict actions by the management on the violators....Read More

For freshers or people from small scale ownership companies Komatsu will be a great place to work. But for people coming from a good MNC with good work culture, it is difficult to sustain.

Komatsu's work culture is good. It provides fair number of holidays. The respect between Senior & Junior employees are very good. Komatsu Work culture demands and thrives for Quality.

Dislikes

The Promotion and Compensation system is below average here. There are people who have been working for years and yet not been promoted. Komatsu India Chennai plant currently is mostly hiring people on Contractual basis.
