I have been part of this company for the past 6 years, and it has proven to be an excellent environment for individuals who are hardworking, loyal and passionate about their work. Nearly 50% of the staff at this company have been working more than 10 years, reflecting a strong culture of loyalty and commitment. However, this is notthe ideal workplace for those who expect the perks associated with Government jobs and MNC's. One notable aspect of the company is that management is heavily involved in every detail of the operations. While this ensures transparancy and open communication it sometimes results in lack of defined hierachy which can create ambiguity in decision making and responsibility for staff.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
