Some Territory Retail Executive working here avove store managers, are good. They help you learn filling excel sheets, solve store related problems etc. Salary gets credited on 1st or 2nd of every month.

Dislikes

Long working hours, every day almost 12 hours in store for store managers and other staffs. Very limited leaves. Even if you have leaves, you can't get it. Audit happens at night and all staffs including managers need to be awake, very little compensation given. Leaves are encashed when you have plenty of them and the calculations will make you furious. Your basic salary divided by 30 days is your 1 day leave encash amount. As basic is very less, so leave encashment is a joke. Sometimes in an area if company have 2-3 stores, and company sees that you have capability to run them, they will save money by not hiring managers if any leaves from other stores. They will run those store in your area by regular store staffs and for problems sort out, you as a manager in a nearby company store, needs to go and work there. No extra compensation will be provided. But if any problems arise in those stores, then you will be blamed and even get you terminated. No work-life balance. You'll feel like a robot, working for whole 12 hours every day, getting back room, eating and sleeping. Getting up early to get ready to go to work from 10am. This cycle is for ever. The salary rise is meagre. Some years evwn if your store achives target, no salary raise would be there. And the managers joining 2-3 years after you will have better salary package than yours, designation doesn't matter. Here in this company a store manager can have less salary than a newly appointed store supervisor or assistant store manager. Sales pressure sometimes is huge. No footfall in store, but they aren't interested to hear that. Company's product quality is far inferior than Bata, but company thinks Bata as rival. As product is inferior, so it is cheap. No staff outings, very poor staff salary as compared with other retailers. So, staff retention is also poor. New staff gets recruited very month or two. Lot of politics in company and store.appraisal doesn't happen wat will be said after giving 100%of ur ach,recently started training for all staff,or else it's was just a like running like some start up company.now little change is coming but very slow in appraisal,prompting to next level and there will be no guidance from ur seniorsor support from ur reporting manager.very difficult to servive in this kind of conditions.only u gain experience nothing else from here....Read More
