The job I did helped people in genuine need. I always felt I was working for a cause which is bigger than myself.

I worked in the tech team as a developer, my work was never appreciated no matter how sincerely I worked. Seniors would never question the constant changes in design requirement even if it came one day before the go live date but was extremely critical of delivered work at the time of appraisals belittling the honest and sincere efforts I put in.
