Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Working culture that JIT has is little different campered to other institutions. Management trusty are very supportive and cordiall to all the employee's, job security is good for skilled and updated professional. Company policies are still in the development phase.

the college has zero reputation and the system is not at all structured. principal is waste fellow , no commute facility, hod does not have any common sense and they don't know how to handle people . please don't join this college, high level politics, all brahmins show their third level mindless behavior. no knowledge, no proper management interview process sucks , first they take interview on random basis , then ask you to come to college for two to three times , and then they conclude, we need PhD holders.
