Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? The company deal with import and export thus there was a lot to learn and deal with multiple situations at everytime. This creates challenging work environment. People were friendly and management was supportive. Company policies were tough but everyone can easily handle all the situations. All sorts of facilities were given to the employees such as PF, ESI, Bonus, Increment etc.
