If you want only money not life then you can join.

Working hours is too. Daily 12 hr + working hours and also if your accomodation is a bit away from site then add 1.5 hrs more with duty time . You will not get any personal time for you. Only you are bound to the company. No life is there . Better do something else rather than joining construction companies.

The only thing good about me working in ITD Cementation was the food of the mess and the fact that the company has a lot of Bengali people. Me being a bengali, it's easier to speak my mother tongue.

Any student with a 10th class knowledge if posted in the site for 1-2 months will be able to do the same job that a senior engineer does. There is zero learning about technical aspects of civil engineering. Zero work life balance, almost zero amount of holidays. I had to work on Sundays even, which I think is not even legal in Indiaor anywhere. Working everyday without any holiday and moreover having to spend 14+ hours outside is a horrible job experience. In addition to that the salary is not even close to compensate the amount of time you're giving the company from your everyday life. You literally wake up at 6:30AM freshen up and have your breakfast to leave at 7:30AM and then after the work in site you get back to your room at 10:30PM. You won't even get time to talk to your parents. The sad part is the seniors there normalised using slang language and verbally abusing juniors so much that the project manager laughs if someone complains about something like that.
