Dislikes

No micromanagement– you get full ownership of your tasks and get chances to explore different ways of accomplishing them.

Dislikes

Deadline pressure, but don’t get overwhelmed. Management is always there to support.

The flexibility is amazing! There have been times when I've had to work extra hours or on weekends, and knowing that I'll be able to take that time back later as comp off is such a relief.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
