IHVN is a great place to work I have been able to develop skills in organisational communication and leadership. I understand the importance of having the right information and keeping the organisations archives. I get to work with people of different fields, Doctors, pharmacist, Lab scientist, Administrative staff etc. I have the privilege of hearing them speak about their work, current research trends and projects through the monthly Journal review. Everyone plays an integral part in providing support, care and treatment for PLHIV, staff are encouraged to keep themselves abreast of innovative and quality research methods to improve the care they provide. this is an exciting place to work as it gives you an opportunity to play your part as a change agent, everyone is carried along and most importantly we value relationships....Read More

Dislikes

IHVN is a great working environment, but career growth is slow. Staff should be exposed to more international training, to have more opportunities to grow in other fields, appraisals should be valued. and the library which is the information center of any organisation should be of top priority. there should be room for more benefits and better working conditions.

Work Details

I work as a Documentation officer with the IHVN, I ensure that information and records are filed appropriately, I organise various forms of training such as the monthly evidence based guide line training for staff capacity building etc.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
