Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Most of the colleagues I met here were very supportive and helping in nature. I learned so much while my working duration.

Dislikes

I would have performed better if I was sent on co-monitorings for better understanding of the expextations of my team. I also felt that there was a lack of appretiation.
