1) Economic conditions as briefly discussed above. 2) Business conditions. If the business is booming, then it can keep more employees. 3) Local legislation regulating labor termination. Some places allow more painless termination than others, which might affect job security. 4) Individual factors of the employee from performance, education, work location, experience.

Constructive criticism is one of those necessary evils in the workplace. It’s what pushes you to become a better employee, and what you rely on to get the best out of everybody around you

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
